All of our winners are students who have demonstrated the qualities we had hoped to find when developing the scholarship program...academic excellence, commitment to community service, strength, courage and so much more.
2020 Scholarship Winners
We are proud to announce the winners of the 2020 Hannah Duffy Memorial Scholarships. Two very deserving students, Jaime LeMire, Academy of Allied Health & Science, and Katie Esposito, Red Bank Catholic, were each awarded a $5,000 scholarship. Jamie will be attending Union College and Katie will be attending University of Scranton, both with studies in the medical and nursing fields. We also awarded an additional 'Most Impactful Essay' award in the amount of $1,000 to Victoria Runci, Howell High School. Victoria will be studying to be a Physicians Assistant at Gettysburg College. We wish all three students the best in their college endeavors. |
2019 Scholarship Winners
We are proud to announce the 2019 Hannah Duffy Foundation Scholarship recipients to two deserving students, each receiving a $5,000 scholarship. Josh Jacoves, Monmouth Regional High School, will be attending Trinity College, and Vivian DeRosa, Communications High School, will be attending Smith College in the fall. We are proud to announce the 2018 Hannah Duffy Foundation Scholarship recipients. Two very deserving students, Joseph Colasuonno and Joyce Huang were each awarded $5,000 scholarships this year. Joseph has been very involved in supporting the Hannah Duffy Foundation throughout the past 4 years and will be studying Physics at Drexel University and Joyce will be attending Duke University We also awarded an additional $1,000 scholarship to Maggie Wishart, who will be attending Mount Saint Mary's University. She wrote one of the most beautiful essays our committee had ever read, and, therefore made the decision to create an additional "Most Impactful Essay" award. Read Maggie's essay here... |
2017 Scholarship Winners
We are proud to announce the 2017 Hannah Duffy Foundation Scholarship recipients. Three very deserving students....Caroline Collins, Mark Abrams and Rachel Lineman were each awarded $5,000 scholarships this year. These students were members of what would have been Hannah's graduating class, and we were proud to be able to award each of these students with a scholarship in memory of our daughter. We know they will carry her memory in their hearts as they pursue their futures in college and beyond. Caroline will be attending Florida State University, Mark will be attending Widener University and Rachel will be attending Brigham Young University. We wish them all the best of luck in their college careers! 2016 Scholarship Winners We are proud to announce the 2016 Hannah Duffy Foundation Scholarship recipients. Three very deserving students....Alex Britton, Kristina Matthews and Lauren Langlois were awarded scholarships this year. Both Alex & Kristina were each awarded $5,000 from the Hannah Duffy Foundation. We are also very proud and honored to announce our partnership with World Subaru in offering an additional scholarship in the amount of $1,500, which was awarded to Lauren. Both Alex and Lauren will be attending the University of South Carolina, and Kristina will be attending Rutgers University. We wish them all the best of luck in their college careers! |
2015 Scholarship Winners The 2015 Hannah Duffy Foundation Scholarship recipients were two very deserving students, Kelly Mooney and Maggie Gaal. These students have demonstrated the qualities we had hoped to find when developing the scholarship program...academic excellence, commitment to community service, strength, courage and so much more.
